Things change! Whether we want them to or not. Seasons change, children grow up, loved ones enter life eternal, jobs come and go, pastors come and go, friends enter our lives for a season and move on, fashion changes, popular hair styles change, our bodies change, our tastes change…I think you get the point. Even the newsletter changes.
Thank you to Laura for injecting some newness into something that can become common and ordinary. It catches our eye, and we know that something is different something has changed and we look at it in a brand new way.
May we remember that God never changes. God is constant in the midst of all of the other things that are changing so rapidly around us.
Hebrews 13:8 tells us “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
We can take comfort in knowing that even as we try to figure out the new remote for the TV or the new phone that just arrived, God is with us and loves us with an everlasting, never changing love.
